  • Iris Osterman has work in the "2019 National Prize Show" at the Cambridge Art Association, University Place Gallery, 124 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge MA. The exhibit runs May 15 - June 22, with an opening reception on May 15, 6-8 pm.

Chris Plunkett

  • Chris Plunkett has a solo exhibit at Ashmont Grill Restaurant from May 1- May 31. The restaurant is located at 555 Talbot Ave., Dorchester, MA.

Allison Maria Rodriguez

  • Allison Maria Rodriguez will have work in "I Wanna Dance With Somebody - The 2019 Every Woman Biennial" from May 19 - 29 at La MaMa Gallería and 222 Bowery Gallery in New York City. This is the third iteration of Christine Finley’s women’s art exhibition and comes as a response to the awakening representation of women artists.  Opening night events will include a performance by Whitney Houston impersonator Kevin Smith Kirkwood (Kinky Boots & Whitney Live) and a Flash Mob Dance Performance to I Wanna Dance With Somebody at 4pm in between venues. The opening reception will be Sunday, May 19 in two locations: La MaMa Gallería from 1pm - 4pm | 222 Bowery Gallery from 4:15pm - 7pm.

  • Rodriguez will have work in the group exhibition Call of the Wild at 13FOREST Gallery from May 18 - July 12. This exhibition explores the significance of animals in human life, encompassing folklore and fables, religion and spirituality, environmentalism and conservation, and pure fantasy.  There will be an opening reception on Saturday, May 18 from 4 - 6pm and a "Tiger's Paw Party - Cocktail Hour" on Saturday, June 29 from 4 - 6pm.

  • Rodriguez has a two-person exhibit, "Personal Ecologies: Yuko Oda and Allison Maria Rodriguez," at the Hynes Convention Center from April 25 - August 29. Both artists create works inspired by intensely personal experiences contextualized in explorations of the natural environment. Curated by Caitlin Foley.  Opening reception is Tuesday, May 28 from 6 - 8pm.

  • Rodriguez has work in “The Cube Art Project,” a curated public art exhibition of digital art, moving images, and animations from around the world, screened on the City of Lincoln’s 750 sq. ft. outdoor LED screen, for a full year from Oct 2018 - Oct 2019.  The exhibition is located at The Railyard on 350 Canopy Street in Lincoln Nebraska.

Alexandra Rozenman

  • Alexandra Rozenman has work in Somerville Open Studios at the Joy Street Building, 86 Joy Street, Somerville, studio 34. Event is the first May weekend, May 4 and 5, 12-6pm both days. Work by Alexandra's students of all ages from Art School 99 is also in the show.

  • Steve Sangapore has released a clothing series inspired by his new painting series titled SUPERPOSITION. T-shirts and hoodies are now available at www.sangapore.com.

Rebecca Skinner

  • Rebecca Skinner has work in the "Members Community Show" at the RI Center for Photographic Arts located at 118 N. Main Street, Providence, RI. The exhibit runs Thursday, May 16 - Friday, June 14 with an opening reception on Thursday, May 16 from 5-9pm.

Sylvia Vander Sluis

  • Sylvia Vander Sluis will have work in “Please Touch the Art,” an exhibit at the Mosesian Art Center in Watertown, MA from May 23 – September 6. Opening reception is Thursday, June 6, 5:30-8:30pm. Vander Sluis is one of five members of the Surface Design Association’s MA/RI chapter members who have collaborated on a 15-foot wide, fiber-art installation titled “Out for a Walk.” The exhibit invites sighted and visually impaired visitors to go beyond looking at art and encourages them to use their sense of touch to experience each piece.
