In Patty deGrandpre’s Anywhere, the places we go and the moments we collect become the starting point for unexpected visual discoveries. Working across photography, printmaking, and painting, deGrandpre transforms snapshots and images from everyday life into vibrant, layered compositions that balance recognizable imagery with abstraction.
Buildings, landscapes, signs, and passing encounters are cropped, rearranged, and reimagined through bold color, geometric forms, and rich textures. Informed by her background in graphic design, deGrandpre brings a thoughtful sense of composition to an experimental process in which familiar images take on new meaning.
