March

Monday morning, we took down

'unscripted'

, our first show. It seems like yesterday we were scrambling to have everything ready for the opening. But by monday afternoon, we had a clean canvas again, ready for the next exhibit, feeling the energy and promise of the next great adventure.

One last look, as  'unscripted' comes down.

Today

Lisa Barthelson

, the mixed media artist whose print installation, '

family debris series

,' will be on view in the gallery beginning Friday March 4th, arrived with a roomful of monoprints. She and fellow artist Carrie Crane immediately set to work unpacking, arranging, measuring and hanging the installation.

Virginia Fitzgerald

, who will exhibit some of her pieces from '

the dress project

',  brought one of her dresses and installed it alongside Lisa's prints. Seeing the new work fill the space with a completely new aesthetic and energy was really exciting; seeing the two artists together in the gallery, their work complementing one another's so well, was even more gratifying.

Lisa and Cherie make last minute decisions.
