Tell us about the artwork. What makes it unique?

Just Leave It - Vignette I is an excerpt from my senior thesis film. The film is an experimental study of mood using multidisciplinary techniques such as cyanotype printmaking, rotoscoping, and replacement animation. Though "Just Leave It" contains elements of self portraiture, the tactile feel of the visuals and monochromatic blue color palette create a sense of nostalgia that draws viewers into the world of the film.”

Tell us about yourself. How did you come to be an artist in video/digital media?

“From a young age I was always fascinated with art. However, as I grew older I discovered the power of the moving image and have dedicated my studies to animation. I will be graduating with a BFA in Animation & Motion Media from Lesley University College of Art & Design in May 2022. Over the course of my studies, my practice has translated to digital media with the rise in digital animation softwares and the unique ways in which digital and traditional media can coalesce.”

Tell us about the artwork. What makes it unique?

“I create multimedia animations about how we move through different places, identities, and experiences. My animations are playful and often rely on collaborative, participatory artwork.”

Tell us about yourself. How did you come to be an artist in video/digital media?

“I have a deep need to express myself through both visuals and text. My time-based work allows for sequence, multiples, morphs, and movement.”
