Call for Art

Every year Fountain Street hosts an international call-for-art that invites a local curator, gallerist, critic, writer and/or artist to jury the artwork. The theme changes yearly and is decided by a group of Core members. The next exhibition will take place in July-August 2023.

The 2024 Call-for-Art will be announced late fall of 2023 with showing dates in August 2024.

Recent jurors include:

Michelle May and Payal Thiffault, founders of Juniper Rag

Michelle May and Payal Thiffault are visual artists and co-founders of Atelier ID Global, a Massachusetts-based design and marketing agency. In 2021, they founded Juniper Rag, a visual art and lifestyle magazine. Juniper Rag’s mission is to elevate visual artists and creative businesses and introduce them to new global markets.

May and Thiffault’s shared values of creativity and community drive their work.

Gabriel Sosa, Artist, Educator and Linguist

Juror Gabriel Sosa is a Cuban-American artist, educator, and linguist.
