Tell us about the artwork. What makes it unique?

"A disturbing portrait of a cup" is a loop video that combines various shoots of a one cup of coffee that "shakes" while riding on a boat. Through a specific montage process I wanted to show the restlessness that is equally experienced through sound and image.”

Tell us about yourself. How did you come to be an artist in video/digital media?

”I am film director and video artist. When I started making films I realized that I "think" more through pictures than through story. I enrolled in an Academy where new media, performance and experimental film were represented just as much as classic film. Today I deal with video art, fiction and documentary films.”

Tell us about the artwork. What makes it unique?

“I create multimedia animations about how we move through different places, identities, and experiences. My animations are playful and often rely on collaborative, participatory artwork.”

Tell us about yourself. How did you come to be an artist in video/digital media?

“I have a deep need to express myself through both visuals and text. My time-based work allows for sequence, multiples, morphs, and movement.”
