TENacious: A Reunion

Core Member Alumni Exhibition
curated by Marie Craig

March 3-28, 2021

TENacious, Fountain Street Gallery’s 10th anniversary celebration, is an exhibition of painting, photography and sculpture by Fountain Street alumni core artists. Born out of a commitment to community and collaboration in the arts, Fountain Street and its artists have held to their vision with tenacity—overcoming numerous obstacles along the way. This exhibit reconnects and celebrates the artists who took a leap of faith and exhibited their work at Fountain Street in its earlier days. They joined as members and partners in an experiment situated in an old factory building in Framingham. Co-founder and director Marie Craig says, “We are grateful for their trust and their artistry; we have grown from the experience of working with each one.” The exhibiting artists personify what the gallery has always encouraged—exploration, risk-taking and reinvention. Now located in Boston, Fountain Street is pleased to share new work by these former core artists, to reconnect with old friends and to look toward to a bright creative future for all.

EXHIBITING ARTISTS:

Lisa Barthelson, Cheryl Clinton, Susan Emmerson, Bob Evans, Nan Hass Feldman, Richard Kattman, Anita Loomis, Iris Osterman, Roy Perkinson, Tracy Spadafora, Jeanne Williamson Ostroff
