Biography
Sorin Bica is a Romanian-born painter based in the Boston area whose work explores emotional intensity, psychological depth, and human experience through abstraction, color, and expressive gesture. Trained across multiple disciplines including sculpture, fashion design, jewelry design, and political cartooning, he developed a multidisciplinary foundation that continues to inform his visual language. His paintings are guided by intuition and a process of sustained immersion, allowing forms to emerge organically through layers of paint and movement. Active in the Boston arts community, Bica has exhibited in venues including Paula Estey Gallery and Framingham ARTpop Gallery, as well as in numerous group exhibitions and open studio events.
