Fountain Street celebrates the work of teen artists from Artists For Humanity (AFH), continuing an exciting partnership between the two organizations. The Annex exhibition will include painting and mixed media pieces created in AFH’s art studios. The featured artists in “Now We’re Talking” are among the 200+ teens hired by AFH this summer for paid employment in the visual arts and creative industries. The exhibition promotes these talented young Boston artists, amplifying their voices by showcasing their work in a prominent SoWa gallery.
AFH provides a haven for teens from every corner of the city, a place where they can explore and express their creative abilities, identify pathways for their educational pursuits, and, most importantly, dispel the myth that the larger world is closed to them. Featured artist and current AFH teen Samuel Quintin says, “I am more than grateful for the opportunity that Artists For Humanity has given me to explore myself and art.”
