About Fountain Street Gallery

Fountain Street was founded by artists Marie Craig and Cheryl Clinton in 2011 in a century-old mill building in Framingham, Massachusetts. Dedicated to presenting thoughtful, engaging work by emerging and established artists, the gallery quickly developed a reputation for dynamic exhibitions and a strong sense of artistic community.

Fountain Street relocated to Boston’s SoWa Art District in 2017, where it established itself as a dynamic venue for contemporary art. Across its Main, Annex, and Sidewalk Video galleries, the space presented more than one hundred exhibitions and showcased the work of hundreds of artists from both the local community and the international art scene. During its time in SoWa’s Art District, and under the leadership of co-founder and director Marie Craig and assistant director Tatiana Flis, the gallery earned recognition as Best of Boston® 2019.

Following the closure of its SoWa location in April 2024, Fountain Street continues its mission through an online storefront on the 1stDibs art and design marketplace, virtual exhibitions on its website, and curated exhibitions presented in art spaces throughout New England.

In 2025, ownership of Fountain Street transferred to Rebecca Skinner, who brings a wealth of experience in curation, operations, and sales. Continuing the gallery’s long-standing commitment to excellence, professionalism, camaraderie, and collaboration, Skinner leads Fountain Street’s evolving program connecting artists and collectors through exhibitions, partnerships, and digital platforms.
