VOICES: Protest Art in the Age of Trump

voices front.jpg

Following the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump, citizens of the United States and the world have come together in making their voices heard. Feelings of shock and outrage have given way to an outpouring of visual creativity. We are at a moment in time that will define our nation for years to come. How will your voice be heard?

Fountain Street Fine Art is giving a platform to the community and artists by collecting protest signs, posters, and original artwork that have been created in the spirit of resistance. The theme of the donated work should reflect the current cultural climate, interpreted in any way you choose.

DUE TO OUR IMPENDING MOVE TO 460 HARRISON AVE IN BOSTON'S SOWA ARTS DISTRICT, THIS EXHIBITION IS POSTPONED. PLEASE WATCH THIS PAGE FOR UPDATES REGARDING A FUTURE POP-UP EXHIBITION.

All work will be for sale, with proceeds (in full) going directly to local non-profits, including ACLU of Massachusetts and Metrowest Legal Services.

A reception and events such as speakers, performances and art-making activities for the weekend are in the planning stages. Check back soon for more information.
