A CURATED COLLECTION BY CHERYL CLINTON

Interconnection

Isolation is not a new experience for most creatives. It is often the preferred way of being in order to be fully engaged in one’s work. In this time fraught with disconnection and confinement, the connection to creative practice, engagement with activities that bring joy and reciprocity have heightened value. The pieces selected for this exhibit share connections with themes in creative practices, playing with boundaries of representation and abstraction. Contrast, layers, beauty and decay highlighting cycles of life and loss are running themes in the work presented.

Artists: Jim Banks, Marie Craig, Denise Driscoll, Alexandra Rozenman, Steve Sangapore, Rebecca Skinner, Dorothea Van Camp, Leslie Zelamsky
