Core Artists of Fountain Street, Part 2

SoWa First Friday Art Walk: March 1 | 5-8PM

E.E. Cummings’ poem “somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond” inspired the titles for Fountain Street Galley’s final two exhibitions. Each show will feature a small group of Fountain Street Core Artists working in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, and photography. This is a love poem, and the image of a transcendent journey “beyond/any experience” points to the wonder and mystery of a great love, be it for a person or an artistic calling. It is a fitting tribute to the irrepressible nature of creative endeavors and to the artists of Fountain Street as we prepare to close our doors on March 31, 2024.
